Since many Hong Kong people think that they are nothing but a burden to the already strained economy. They wrongly associate minority groups with refugees. Minority groups mean manpower and a new market, if we do not discriminate and isolate .I have some suggestions for reducing discrimination and isolation. First of all, the government should assign the resource of the society equally. Many Hong Kong people have worked very hard .what they have today; it is not fair for other minority groups to enjoy their fount without making any contribution. For example, many schools set up special English enhancement classes for new immigrant, no local student. Many local students are isolated by their teachers even if their English results also are poor. As the government order school to take care of these immigrants firstly. Because of it, most of the Hong Kong people dislike minority groups for the resource. So that the government should put more recourse on local people, let them have enough supply and infrastructure. It can reduce disputes between local and minority groups for destroy discrimination and isolation. As most of the Hong Kong people are generous and they do not mind share with other when they have more than need. Second, it is important to hold up more multicultural understanding activities. Like Chinese, many minority groups also have particular habits, such as food or wearing. For example, most of the Indians will not eat pork as they regard pig as dirty. If local Chinese people invite them to din out and they reject, they will be misunderstand that they are disrespectful. As this reason, we should hold up more activities for public to know more other minority culture and reduce mind culture gap. The multicultural understanding activities are the best choice for public to learn various cultures in fun .when public understand the culture of other minorities, not only it can reduce culture gaps and disputes ,but also they understand to look up to the culture of each other . Finally, local people should give an opportunity for minority group to contribute society. Hong Kong mistakenly thinks those minority groups are dirty, poor and rude. As a matter of the fact, some of them are highly educated and well off. They only lose a choice for using their skill and knowledge because most of the employers will lay off minority quickly. In fact, minority groups work very hard. It is easy to find it in HKECC result that many minority groups student especially Mainland student have a better result than local student. If public can give them a choice, they must contribute to society and do not be discriminated by Hong Kong People as they have contributed to community, not just enjoy the fount of making by Hong Kong people. All in all, Hong Kong should help minority groups integrate into community, for discrimination and isolation will only result in disputes and society problems, not prosperity and stability.
