Learning Objectives
At the end of this module, students are expected to be able to:
  • manipulate numbers, algebraic symbols and other mathematical objects such as equations, inequalities and functions;
  • understand the basic properties of lines, triangles and circles and use a deductive approach to study geometric and related problems;
  • understand and use trigonometric ratios for simple 2-D figures;
  • understand the basic laws of probability;
  • use statistical measures to analyze and interpret data;
  • apply their mathematical knowledge and skills to solve a variety of problems.
